I have two characters of yours that are my absolute favorite.

Miles Bletchley - for obvious reasons. I love your characterization for him, and the story you made for him about his family, especially since in the books the brief mention of him is being a pureblooded Slytherin twat. His non-caring attitude just makes you want to hug him and pet him and squeeze him and take him home and love him forever and ever. xD! Miles + Daphne = my OTP. I'm such a fan-girl for them now.

Philomena Selwyn - I have soft spots for headstrong, classic beauties and you exemplify both her classy-dame side and her twisted "I WILL GET WHAT I WANT" attitude. I always feel like I want to hate her, but can't help but to admire her at the same time. I loved Rita and Phil interaction, too. The brash uncouth cougar known as Rita meeting up and befriending the poised, demure Philomena. They were fun.

Oh god, how does anyone pick just one? You play so many fabulous people!

Rolf Scamander is one of my favorites. He's just this lovely mixture of friendliness that blocks out the asshole ideas he embodies. I love his voice and his nature, because it's so easy and open. But even so he's got a depth and a 'darker side' (for lack of a better term) that people tend not to see. It's a mark of awesome characterization and writing when the Holocaust denier has more friends than Albus Dumbledore in some settings.

But Albus himself! I try to avoid characters of such high caliber because I don't feel that I, or a lot of people, can do them justice. But, you most certainly do. You write the hell out of Dumbledore and portray his patient cunning with so much ease that it's hard not to love him. His voice is very distinct. He's also clever and subtle as fuck, as embodied in that letter to Grindelwald at AM. I love watching his interactions with Gellert, and then stuff with Abe.

And holy shit, I could keep going. James Potter, Lysander Scamander. So many people!

1. Sherlock. Because you've fit him very nicely between the pale, delicate, Percy Shelley-esque flower of genius and the nonsensically sexualized robot that he is so often made to be. And because he's not your preshus bb who can do no wrong, a disease that plagues many less fortunate Sherlocks.

2. Albus. Because he is polite. And people forget that. (Also manipulative. And fabulous and purple. And not primed to jettison his political beliefs as soon as someone points out they're mean.) His involvement in and reactions to moral ambiguity are interesting and fun to fuck with.

3. Rolf. Because he's a character, and a continually creative and surprising one. If someone asked me to write him, I feel like I probably could (although certainly not as colorfully) and that speaks to how well, completely, and consistently he's been constructed. And he produces thoroughly tolerable schmoop. How do these things happen?
